Hunter Premium Funding Limited ("Hunter") is a subsidiary of Allianz Australia and primarily funds commercial insurance premiums, the majority of which is sourced through the insurance intermediary market.

Personal information is any information whereby your identity may be ascertained.

Where it is possible we will collect personal information directly from you. The personal information collected and maintained by Hunter comprises your name, address and contact details and information specific to your loan.

However, in some circumstances we will need to collect your personal information from third parties. These circumstances may include collection of your personal information from an insurance intermediary for the purposes of assessing your loan application.

When you give personal information about other individuals, we rely on you to have made or make them aware:

• That you will or may provide their information to us;
• The types of third parties to whom the information my be provided;
• The relevant purposes we and the third parties will disclose it to, will use it for; and
• How they can access it.

We rely on you to have obtained their consent on these matters. If you have not done or will not do either of these things, you must tell us before you provide the relevant information.

For some loans we also collect and maintain your sensitive information. This comprises information about your credit history, financial information and any criminal convictions you may have.

The information requested allows us to assess risks, write and administer your loan.

If we do not collect personal information from you we will not be able to do business with you.

Hunter relies on third party suppliers (agents, credit rating agencies, loss adjusters, assessors, insurers, mailhouses etc) to carry out specialised activities. These third parties act on behalf of Hunter. Whilst your personal information may be provided to these third parties to enable them to perform their agreed activities, we limit the use and disclosure of any personal information provided by us to them to the specific purpose for which we supplied it. We also ensure that they are aware of our obligations.

If you default on a loan, we may also disclose information about you to credit rating agencies (e.g. Veda Advantage).

In providing the relevant products and services to you, we may share your personal information with related companies within Allianz.

Hunter aims to ensure that your personal information is accurate, up to date and complete. Please contact us on 1300 HUNTER (486 837) EST 8.30am – 6pm, Monday –Friday if you would like to seek access to, or revise your personal information or feel that the information we currently have on record is incorrect or incomplete.

If you believe that the privacy of your personal information at Hunter has been interfered with you may lodge a complaint by contacting Allianz on 1300 360 529 EST 9am – 5pm, Mon-Fri or in writing to Corporate Compliance, Allianz Australia Limited, GPO Box 4049, Sydney, NSW, 2001. Your complaint will be managed and resolved through our internal Privacy Complaint Procedure.

If, however, you are not satisfied with the way Hunter has handled your complaint you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner on 1300 363 392.
