EXECUTIVES

Bradley Bartlem, Chief Executive Officer

Brad is responsible for the overall performance of Hunter and Allianz Finance in Australia and New Zealand. He joined Allianz in 2000 and initially held senior management roles in the insurance division, before he moved into premium funding in 2002. Before starting at Allianz, Brad worked in broking and underwriting for 15 years in the local and overseas insurance markets, primarily with ACE Insurance.

Nigel Thomas, General Manager

Nigel joined Hunter in 2001 with 20 years of service to insurance broking and underwriting. He has specialist knowledge of marine insurance and business underwriting gained in Australia and overseas. Prior to his appointment as General Manager in 2007, Nigel worked for six years as Hunter’s Queensland State Manager.

STATE MANAGERS

Jason Hawksworth, NSW & ACT State Manager

Jason joined the Hunter team after working for Allianz as Distribution Manager and National Motor Trades Manager. Throughout his career, Jason has built excellent customer relationships with brokers across NSW and ACT, which now add great value to the Hunter team. Jason also worked for Allianz in the United Kingdom for several years.

Peter Laydon, QLD State Manager

Peter joined Hunter in 2009 and brings excellent relationship management skills and extensive experience in sales and the broker environment. Before commencing with Hunter, he worked for Allianz in Broker and Agency as a Regional Distribution Manager in Queensland. His career with Allianz companies spans more than 30 years.

Koula Stamatovski, VIC and TAS State Manager

Koula joined Hunter in 2002. During her time at Hunter she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the premium funding market, whilst performing roles in the business including State Manager, SA & NT. She is considered a valuable part of the team due to her commitment and dedication to our customers and our business.

Lauree Weir, WA State Manager

Lauree joined Hunter in 2008, after working for seven years in the insurance industry. The majority of this time was spent in the premium funding market. Lauree holds a range of qualifications, and has diverse sales and marketing experience. Her creative approach and dedication to excellence greatly strengthen the Hunter team.

Darren Evans, SA & NT State Manager

Darren joined Hunter in 2009 and brings extensive experience in business development and account and corporate sales management. He has been working in premium funding in Adelaide since 2007 and previously held roles in sales and marketing.

Kerry Jonas, NZ Manager

Kerry has built loyal relationships with Hunter’s New Zealand broking partners through years of experience in insurance and premium funding, and contributes a wealth of knowledge to his team. He joined Allianz New Zealand in 1987 as a Sales Manager for the Broker and Agency Division. In 1999, Kerry transferred across to Hunter as New Zealand Manager.
